To secure your reservation, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of $1000 US, a deposit is your commitment to joining the tour. These deposits don’t typically sit in an account, they are used to cover initial expenses for the tour like hotel reservations, park fees and guided tour deposits. Due to these expenses, deposits are non-refundable and tour payment made is subject to a cancellation fee.


The remaining balance is due in full 90 days before the start of the tour, failure to make payments within this timeline could result in tour cancellation.  All figures in USD per person. 


TANAGER PHOTO TOURS reserves the right to decline bookings for any reason whatsoever, at our sole discretion. A booking is accepted only from the date that TANAGER PHOTO TOURS has confirmed acceptance in writing and issued a confirmation invoice and payment schedule for the tour. Only at this point does the contract between the participant and TANAGER PHOTO TOURS come into existence. 


Important: Please keep us updated about your payment - initial deposit or full payment - inform us via e-mail with the form of payment, amount and date.


​More than 90 days before the start of the tour: $500 cancellation fee unless we fill your spot. If we can fill your spot, the cancellation fee will be waived.

89 – 60 days before the start of the tour: $700 cancellation fee unless we fill your spot. If we can fill your spot, the cancellation fee will be waived.

Less than 60 days before the start of the tour: No refunds will be given, and all payments will be forfeited. Full payment is required no later than 60 days prior to departure. If full payment is not received by this date you will be notified by email. If you do not respond within 3 business days, your spot will be forfeited and offered to participants on the waiting list.



​If we are forced to cancel a tour for any reason, your entire payment will be transferred to another comparable tour within one calendar year. You will be informed via e-mail.


​We accept payments per wire transfer mainly.


​The price of the trip usually is "all included”: Accommodations and meals as specified in the itinerary (including hotel/restaurant taxes, if applicable) transfers, activities as described in the itinerary, entrance fees to parks, reserves or places mentioned on the itinerary and a tour leader. These services are described in the final itinerary and they constitute an agreement with TANAGER PHOTO TOURS. if a service is not included in the itinerary is because is not cover in the trip price. Domestic flights required by the itinerary are usually included in the tour price. All flights included or excluded from the tour price will be indicated on the final itinerary. Travel expenses such as: international flights, departure taxes, passports, visas, immunizations, insurance, medical costs, evacuation, not mentioned excursions, room service, alcohol beverages, laundry, excess baggage, tips, telephone calls, personal expenses or arising from the delay or extension of a trip due to causes beyond our control are not included. Routine tips for meals are included, but tips for other services are not.


​Prices quoted are based on rates in effect at the time of we deliver the proposal or final itinerary and are subject to change at any time. Even after full payment, TANAGER PHOTO TOURS reserves the right to increase the program price in the event of cost increases beyond our control or our suppliers control such as, but not limited to: Currency fluctuations, change in number of participants, taxes or others.  All such increases are to be paid to TANAGER PHOTO TOURS upon notice to the tour participant.


​A medical and travel insurance to cover medical expenses or circumstances beyond your control is a must. 

We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance as soon as possible after making a deposit to protect you from unforeseen scenarios such as losses due to illness, accident, travel cancellations, delays, baggage lost and other circumstances. TANAGER PHOTO TOURS is not responsible for any additional costs that may be incurred by any medical expense, weather delays or cancellations due to weather, flight delays, or otherwise.



​TANAGER PHOTO TOURS holds the right to modify the tour at any time if any situation arises beyond our control. We always try to comply with the itinerary but due to unforeseeable circumstances such as weather, political, environmental and others we may have to make changes to our reservations. The tour leader and company staff will determinate the best solution, will inform the decision to participants and will proceed to make change/changes if necessary. Any change will be in the benefit of our participants.


​Most of our tours involve easy to moderate activity, our participants must be able to complete moderate walks with their own equipment sometimes in slope terrain, slippery surfaces and other field conditions.

The participants accept full responsibility for evaluating his/her fitness prior to the tour.

​Any physical or mental condition that may require special attention or physical assistance must be reported via e-mail when you make your reservation. Participants should be open with their medical conditions and should communicate prior to the trip to the office staff and during the trip to the tour leader any problem related with: dietary restriction, allergies and any other medical issue.

The tour leader has the right to disqualify anyone at any time from certain activities, if he/she has reason to believe that the person is not capable of safely participating in the activity. 


TANAGER PHOTO TOURS assign a leader and holds the right to change or replace the tour leader before or during the trip.


​The tour leader may disqualify any participant at any time if the participant violates national laws, local regulations and/or is deemed detrimental to the safety or well-being of others on the trip, or whose behavior is not respectful with other participants, drivers, guides, staff among others. TANAGER PHOTO TOURS will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by a participant disqualified.


​On set-departure tours, the maximum number of tour participants is 8 with one or two leaders. Customized tours can be arranged on request with a participant-to-leader ratio in accordance with the clients’ wishes.


​A passport valid for six months after the date of departure is required for all trips. It is the responsibility of the traveler to determine their visa requirements.
