GENERAL INFO:
The Andes split into 3 different branches at the south of Colombia creating an unparalleled variety of ecosystems and habitats from the lowlands to the top of the mountains. As a result, the biodiversity who inhabits the Colombian Andes is not only astonishing but also special. During our Andes trip we will be visiting some of the best photography spots on the western and central cordilleras which are loaded with colorful birds, endemics and range restricted species, there are also high chances for some mammals and other biodiversity.

Day 01
Arrival Cali, you will be transfer to the hotel. Night at town.
Day 03
Birds photography spot on the western slope of western Andes: today we will visit a farm house with feeders to ensure the opportunities for high quality Tanagers, Hummingbirds, Toucanets and more. night at ecolodge.
Day 05
birds of the Cauca River valley: Today we will be working at the lowlands and mid lands of the Cauca river valley with a completely different set of birds. afternoon transfer to Manizales. Night at town.
Day 07
Birds of the central cordillera: Today we will visit a high Andean forest photography spot loaded with special birds. night at Los Nevados Natural park.
Day 09
Birds of the shade ground coffee: we will spend our morning in the coffee country shooting nice and colorful tanagers and hummingbirds, after lunch we will be transfer to the town of Jardin. Night at town.
Day 11
High Andean forest on the Western Andes: today's photography session will take place in the mountains above the town of Jardin, with high chances for beautiful birds and the incredible Tiger Cat (Oncilla).
Day 13
You will be transfer to the airport to take a flight back home, until next time.
Day 02
Birds photography spot above Cali: today we will visit a farm house with feeders to ensure the opportunities for high quality Tanagers, Hummingbirds, Wood Quails and more. Short walks at the forest nearby are possible. night at ecolodge.
Day 04
Birds photography spot above Cali: Birds photography spot on the top of the western Andes: today we will visit a farm house with feeders to ensure the opportunities for high quality Tanagers, Hummingbirds, Toucanets, Antpitta, Tinamou and more, at the afternoon we will be transfer to Buga. night at ecolodge.
Day 06
Birds of the central Andes: we will visit a birds photography spot above Manizales immersed in the high Andean forest. Night at town.
Day 08
Birds of the Paramo: we will be working in the incredible Paramo ecosystem landscape atop of the central Andes above Manizales. In the afternoon we will be transfer to an ecolodge. night at ecolodge.
Day 10
Andean Cock of the Rock and bonanza photo session: live the experience of being in a lek of one of the most recognized birds of the Andes. night at town.
Day 12
Today we will have a second chance for th Andean cock of the Rock and other endemics of the area. At midday we will be transfer to the city of Medellin. Night at Medellin.
